12 square miles, less than 800 inhabitants, and only one "road," really, there isn't a whole lot to the island. But that doesn't mean there isn't a lot to explore and a lot to see. Even turned inward,  away from the stunning vistas off the cliffs or of the sea, the stark beauty of the jagged landscape is breathtaking.

"Look! Goats!"  •Baaaaa•  He said hi to me!"

Everett is really into maps. He likes drawing them, looking at them, identifying where we are in relationship to where we're going, watching our progress on Google maps on my phone (the blue dot getting closer to the red dot) – he's really into all of it. So we usually let him navigate.

Every so often a bright white church, like a tuft of snow, disrupted the color palette of the landscape.

With distances amounting to no more than a few miles (albeit at steep inclines much of the time), donkey remains the best method of transportation for some of the locals. And the sight always brings a smile to the face.
