A boat to a beach

Just a quick 10 minute ride, but better than hiking through the mountains to get to the calm, gorgeous beach of St Nicolas.

What a happy kid!

Everett really became addicted to swimming on this trip. With floaties, without floaties, it didn't matter, he was set on learning to swim and wanted to be in the water every minute. Unfortunately we made him take breaks, in which he'd just practice his strokes on the sand.

The striking lines of the church for which the beach is named coupled with the wild beauty of the landscape – stunning. And the colors of both were magical.

And after a light lunch we jumped on our taxi back to the main beach. Out on the water, still half wet from swimming, cruising past the cliff-lined shore, spotting isolated coves, sea spray slashing up, wind whipping your face... it's the best.
