When the drive is this beautiful, you hardly notice an hour go by.

And the only "traffic" is the occasional shorn sheep crossing the road.

Warm, calm, shallow water meant these water babies could play while mom and dad relaxed in the shade.

Everett had been asking for "a mask" the whole trip, and we told him he could have one when he learned to swim. Although I  wouldn't technically call him "a swimmer," we did cave once we got to Crete, and got him goggles. He was so thrilled! But he has to wait until next year for "the magic stick" (the snorkel).
